Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to services provided by Lukas Mobile Detailing & Tint (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 7080 Ensign Dr, Parkville, MO 64152, and to your use of lukasmobiledetailing.com. By booking a service, requesting a quote, texting us, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

We provide automotive window tinting, residential and commercial window film, ceramic coatings, paint protection film (PPF), paint correction, vehicle wraps, and detailing. Window tint, ceramic coatings, PPF, paint correction, and wraps are performed at our Parkville shop. Mobile detailing is performed at your home or business within our service area.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Prices on our website and in quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price may change based on your vehicle’s actual size, condition, number of windows, existing film or coatings that must be removed, or extra work requested. We will tell you about any price change before doing additional work.

3. Booking, Deposits, and Payment

• Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or by text.
• A deposit may be required to reserve appointments for window tint, ceramic coating, PPF, paint correction, and wraps. Any deposit is applied to your final balance.
• Payment of the remaining balance is due when the work is complete, before the vehicle is released.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, may forfeit any deposit. We may reschedule mobile appointments due to weather or other conditions outside our control, and we will contact you as soon as possible if that happens.

5. Your Vehicle and Your Responsibilities

• Please remove valuables and personal items before your appointment. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
• For mobile service, you agree to provide a safe, legal place for us to work and the access we discussed when booking.
• Vehicles with excessive dirt, pet hair, sand, mold, or biohazards may require additional charges, which we will discuss with you before starting.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including rock chips, scratches, failing clear coat, aftermarket or repainted surfaces, loose trim, worn interiors, or damaged rear-window defroster lines. Removing old window film can damage defroster lines that are already weak.

6. Window Tint

• We install tint that complies with Missouri and Kansas law for the state your vehicle is registered in. You are responsible for your choice of shade and for any citations related to tint, including on out-of-state vehicles.
• New film needs 3 to 5 days to cure. During that time, do not roll down your windows. Light haze, small water pockets, or streaks are normal while film cures and should clear on their own.
• Lifetime warranty: our automotive tint carries a lifetime warranty on film and labor against peeling, bubbling, cracking, and fading for as long as you own the vehicle. The warranty does not cover scratches, nicks, damage from cleaning products or sharp objects, broken or replaced glass, accidents, or vandalism.

7. Ceramic Coatings, PPF, and Paint Correction

• Ceramic coatings and PPF need time to cure. Follow the aftercare instructions we give you, including how long to wait before washing.
• Coating warranty length depends on the package you purchase. Coverage may require proper maintenance and periodic inspections at our shop, as described in your package.
• Ceramic coatings are not scratch-proof or chip-proof. Warranties do not cover damage from neglect, harsh chemicals, automatic car washes with brushes, accidents, environmental fallout, or improper washing.
• Paint correction greatly reduces swirls, scratches, and oxidation, but some deep defects cannot be fully removed without risking the paint.

8. Damage and Claims

If you believe your vehicle was damaged during our service, please contact us within 48 hours of pickup or completion, with photos if possible. We will inspect the vehicle and, if we are responsible, we will repair the issue or arrange a fair resolution. We are not responsible for mechanical or electrical problems unrelated to our work.

9. Photos of Your Vehicle

We may photograph or film vehicles we work on and use those images on our website and social media. On request, we will hide license plates and other personal details. If you prefer we not use photos of your vehicle, just tell us.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as loss of use of your vehicle or rental costs.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Platte County, Missouri.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. The Terms in effect when you book a service apply to that service.
